CHANNELS

Three inboxes. One screen.

WhatsApp, Instagram and e-mail each run their own engine on your phone — and every conversation lands in the same unified inbox, where you can read and reply without leaving Sitara.

Every channel runs its own engine on the phone — one inbox reads them all.

WhatsApp

Keyword flows, a first-message welcome and a catch-all reply — with images, video, a real footer and up to three tappable buttons. Plus a live two-way inbox: read the thread, take over by hand, and hand the chat back to automation when you're done.

Instagram

Someone comments “price?” on your post and gets a direct message back. Rules can match a keyword or every comment, and a first-sight watermark means your old posts are never mass-DMed the day you connect.

E-mail

Send from your own Gmail, Outlook or business mailbox using an app password — no third-party sending service in the middle. Import a CSV or Excel list, save templates, and watch a paced campaign go out with a live progress bar.

FEATURES

Everything that ships in the app today

Not a roadmap. This is what is in version 1.7 — twenty-four things Sitara already does on your phone, grouped the way you'd actually use them.

Conversations

Auto-reply flows

Trigger on a keyword (contains, exact, or starts-with), on someone's very first message, or on everything. Attach an image or video, a real WhatsApp footer, and up to three buttons — quick reply, call, or website.

Buttons that chain

A tapped button can open the next flow, so “Sizes → Prices → Order” becomes a real menu your customer walks through instead of one dead-end reply.

Reply variants

Write {Hi|Hello|Hey} and each send picks one at random. Two customers never get a byte-identical message, which is exactly what a real person looks like.

Order-status templates

Five ready flows — Confirmed, Shipped, Out for Delivery, Delivered, Payment Received — seeded with one tap. Edit the wording and you're live.

Live chat & handoff

Open any thread, read the full history with delivery and read ticks, and type a reply yourself. Take a single chat off automation while you handle it personally, then hand it back.

Sales & support agents

One tap seeds a whole bundle of flows for a role, in a tone you pick — friendly, professional, or concise. Rule-based, not AI: you can open and edit every single reply it created.

Campaigns

Broadcast

Compose with an image or video and pick recipients by typing them, from Contacts, from a group, or from a CSV/Excel file. Randomised delay between sends, live progress, and a stop button that actually stops.

Scheduled sends

Set a date and time — WhatsApp doesn't even need to be connected when you schedule it. The engine fires it once it's due and you're online, and you can cancel any time before that.

Reports & retry

Every campaign keeps a per-recipient record of sent, failed and skipped — with the reason. Retry Failed resends only those, never the people who already got it.

Auto-reminders

Nudge the people who never replied. Choose the cadence — daily, every two days, weekly, fortnightly — cap how many nudges one person can ever get, and mute anyone individually.

Google Sheet automation

Point Sitara at a sheet your form writes into. A new row gets a one-time welcome message on WhatsApp — names and numbers are read at send time and never copied into the app's database.

E-mail campaigns

Bulk e-mail from your own mailbox with the same pacing and daily cap as messaging, plus saved templates and {name} personalisation. If the mailbox drops mid-send, the campaign stops rather than silently failing.

Customers

Contacts, captured for you

Every number that messages you is saved automatically — and resolved to the real phone number even when WhatsApp hands over a privacy alias. Tag them with presets or your own labels.

Sales pipeline

Move each contact through New → Contacted → Negotiating → Won or Lost, and filter the list down to one stage with a tap. A real pipeline, without a real CRM subscription.

Notes & follow-ups

Keep searchable notes against a customer and set a follow-up from quick-pick times. Your phone notifies you when it's due, and the dashboard keeps a running “Follow-ups Due” count.

Contact groups

Build a group with a checkbox picker, filter the contact list by it, and broadcast to the whole group without re-selecting anyone.

Excel & CSV import

Import an .xlsx or .csv straight into contacts — phone, name and tag columns are detected for you, and the parsing happens entirely on the device. Export back out to CSV whenever you like.

Link generator

Turn any number into a wa.me link with a message already typed in, complete with a QR code you can copy, share, or stick on a shop window.

Control & safety

Anti-Ban mode

On by default. Shows “typing…” and waits a randomised beat that scales with message length before every reply and every broadcast send — and enforces a six-second floor between broadcast messages no matter what you set.

Number warmup

A freshly linked number starts at a low daily send cap and climbs toward 200 a day as it ages, so a brand-new number is never asked to behave like an established one.

Hard rate caps

Six automated replies per contact per minute and thirty a minute overall — always on, not a setting. A loop between two bots can't turn into a thousand messages.

Pause everything

One master switch on the dashboard stops every automated reply instantly — for a festival, a bad day, or while you take over the conversation yourself. Business hours and per-contact cooldowns handle the rest.

Dashboard insights

A seven-day reply chart, your top-performing flows, the hours you're busiest, and how many unique people you spoke to this month — computed on the phone, from your own data.

Backup & restore

Because the data only lives on your phone, you can write it out to a backup file you keep, and restore it onto a new device. Housekeeping runs daily to prune old activity so the database stays small.

SAFETY

The pacing is the product

Anyone can send a message in a loop. What gets a number banned is sending them like a machine. Sitara's engine is built the other way round — the delay comes first, and the send happens second.

SENDING FLAT OUT 0.2s apart
BLOCKED
SITARA, PACED typing… then a randomised gap
5/5 delivered
6s broadcast floor 6 / contact / min 30 / min global off-hours drop

Anti-Ban mode is on by default and the six-second broadcast floor can't be turned off.

The delay is not optional

Every automated reply and every broadcast send waits behind a randomised pause that scales with how long the message is — because a 40-word answer typed in 200ms is the single most obvious tell there is.

New numbers start small

Warmup reads how many days it's been since you linked the number and sets the day's ceiling from that — climbing gradually toward 200 rather than letting a day-one number blast a full list.

And the honest part

None of this is a guarantee. WhatsApp and Instagram both ban numbers and accounts at their own discretion, and automation raises that risk however carefully it's paced. Message people who asked to hear from you, keep the volumes sane, and treat every cap in this app as a floor rather than a target.

ARCHITECTURE

No server. No cloud. No catch.

Most automation tools need a machine running around the clock somewhere. Sitara doesn't — the whole engine, database and scheduler are packed inside the app and run on your own phone.

TYPICAL AUTOMATION TOOLS
Needs a VPS or a laptop running 24/7
A monthly hosting bill on top of the tool
Automation stops the moment the server does
Your customers' chats sit on someone else's disk
An AI writes replies you never saw or approved
Separate tools and logins per channel
SITARA
The whole engine runs inside the app, on your phone
One licence — nothing else to rent
Keeps working as long as your phone is on
Your data never leaves the device — and you can back it up
Every reply is a rule you wrote and can read back
WhatsApp, Instagram and e-mail in one app

The one exception, stated plainly: a small hosted licence service confirms your key is valid and unexpired, and account sign-in goes through it. It never sees a message, a contact or a chat.

FAQ

Common questions

How does Sitara connect to WhatsApp?

The same way you'd link any new device: from the Connect tab you get a pairing code and enter it in WhatsApp → Linked Devices. Because Sitara runs on the same phone as WhatsApp, the pairing code is the primary method — there's no second screen to scan a QR from.

Do I need to keep the app open?

No. A background engine keeps flows, reminders and scheduled sends running while the app is off screen, and the WhatsApp session comes back on its own after a reboot. What it does need is a phone that stays on, has internet, hasn't force-stopped the app, and has battery optimisation switched off for it.

Does Sitara use AI to write replies?

No, and that's deliberate. Every reply is a rule you wrote: a keyword match, a template, and optionally a spintax variant picked at random. The “agents” are preset bundles of those same rules — you can open and edit every line one created. Nothing is sent to a language model, so nothing can be invented, and there are no API keys to buy.

How does the Instagram channel work — and how risky is it?

You log into your own Instagram account inside the app — checkpoints and two-factor included — and Sitara polls your recent posts for new comments, sending a DM when one matches a rule. It is capped hard (one DM per person per hour, forty a day) and paced. Be clear-eyed about it: this is not an official Instagram API, and automating an account carries a real risk of restriction or ban. The app says so too, in the same words, before you connect.

Whose mail server sends my e-mail?

Yours. You connect your own Gmail, Outlook or business mailbox with an app password, and the phone talks to that mail server directly over SMTP — there's no sending service in between and no per-e-mail fee. Your provider's own limits still apply (Gmail is roughly 500 a day), and this is built for people who asked to hear from you, not cold lists.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — creating an account issues a three-day trial licence automatically, with no card and nothing to cancel. It's one per person, so signing up again with the same e-mail or Google account won't start a second one. When it ends your flows and contacts stay exactly where they are; you just activate a licence key to carry on.

Is bulk messaging safe for my number?

Safer than blasting, but never guaranteed. Sitara enforces a six-second minimum gap between broadcast sends, randomises the delay, ramps a new number's daily cap gradually, and caps automated replies per contact and per minute. WhatsApp still bans numbers at its own discretion. Only message people who opted in, keep volumes realistic, and treat the caps as a ceiling rather than a goal.

Where is my data, and can I back it up?

In a database file on your phone, and nowhere else. That's the point of the design — and the trade-off: if you lose the phone without a backup, the data goes with it. So Sitara can write a backup file you keep and restore it onto a new device. Housekeeping also runs daily, pruning activity older than 90 days and long-dead chats, to keep the database small.

What if I change phones, or my licence expires?

A licence is bound to one device at a time. Moving to a new phone means asking support to unbind the old one, then activating on the new one and restoring your backup. If a licence expires, the app tells you to renew — flows, contacts and settings are all kept, nothing is deleted.

Why don't my buttons show up as tappable buttons?

WhatsApp only renders interactive buttons on certain client versions and account types. Sitara sends the modern button format WhatsApp currently supports, but whether they appear as buttons is decided by the recipient's app, not by us.

Is Sitara affiliated with WhatsApp, Meta or Google?

No. Sitara is an independent product built by Nextosys AI, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to WhatsApp LLC, Meta Platforms, Inc. or Google LLC. Complying with each platform's own terms of service is your responsibility as the account holder.
